HYBRID

Many digital design workflows combine raster and vector data into a single file format. Of these “hybrid” file types the most well known is PDF (Portable Document Format) which can contain images as well as line drawings. Graphical layouts often combine raster images (photographs) and text, making them examples of hybrid formats as well. Other hybrid workflows include digital illustration and rendering together with photorealistic visualization.
